Behaviour Interactive has unveiled Sinister Grace, the latest chapter of Dead by Daylight, set for full release in late September following its debut on the Public Test Build. The update delivers a chilling new Killer drawn from Thai folklore alongside a rock-inspired Survivor.

The Killer, called The Krasue, is based on the legend of a cursed opera singer named Burong Sukapat. Her body splits apart at night, leaving only a floating head with entrails trailing behind. In gameplay, The Krasue alternates between two forms: in head form, she moves faster and wields the Intestinal Whip for melee attacks, while in body form, she launches the Leeching Gland, a projectile that infects Survivors and increases the damage of her follow-up strikes. Her unique perks include Hex: Overture of Doom, which curses the farthest generator and transfers the Killer’s Terror Radius there while granting temporary stealth; Ravenous, which builds power with each hooked Survivor until all Survivors scream and become Exposed; and Wandering Eye, which reveals the aura of nearby injured Survivors at the start of a chase.

Joining the roster of Survivors is Vee Boonyasak, a drummer for the band Axekick whose abilities mirror her rock-and-roll energy. Her perks include Ghost Notes, reducing Exhaustion recovery time and hastening the fading of Scratch Marks; a shout-based perk that triggers boosted Skill Checks for allies; and Road Life, which grants Tokens when she lands Great Skill Checks while injured, with Tokens restoring her Health States.

Sinister Grace continues Dead by Daylight’s tradition of weaving global folklore into its asymmetric horror formula, while also introducing fresh gameplay mechanics for both killers and survivors. With its full rollout expected by the end of September, players can soon experience the haunting arrival of The Krasue and the resilience of Vee Boonyasak inside the Fog.
